The editorial on casinos could not have been more on target. Jamaica’s tourism industry should be 10 times larger than it is and the Government should be doing everything in its power to help it grow. What are we waiting for?

Gordon also adopts a somewhat cynical tone, as he encourages the newspaper to follow its own logic and and equally advocate for a change in the law to facilitate legal brothels – since this would, no doubt, help to diversify the tourism product and increase the earning capacity of large numbers of Jamaicans (as is suggested regarding legal casinos in Jamaica).
