Jamaica’s Tourism Minister, Edmund Bartlett, has said that the Government is close to introducing legislation to govern casino gambling in Jamaica. According to Bartlett, most of the work on the required laws has been completed, and a submission will be taken to Cabinet shortly.

Radio Jamaica (RJR) Financial Report has reported that the Government has received a report from the team which was established to formulate the regulatory framework and tax regime to govern the operation of casinos in Jamaica.
